This film depicts the colorful Holi Festival of Koch people living in Sherpur district. The Koches are one of the oldest small ethnic groups living in Bangladesh. Most of these Koch believe in Sonaton Hindu religion. They possess a rich historical, social and cultural heritage. Their distinctive culture is reflected in their festivals, dance, music and life style. Millions of Hindus including the Koch small ethnic group in Bangladesh celebrate the colorful Holi Festival with gaiety to welcome the spring. They celebrate the festival by smearing abeer (dry coloured powder) and spraying water colours on each other. Singing and dancing together, they get drenched in colour. Marked as a triumph of good over evil, this festival brings a message of unity and friendship
